PhilSME Expo 2013 Empowers Social Entrepreneurs

As the Philippines experiences a booming economy, the PHILIPPINE SME BUSINESS EXPO 2013 will help push this further by featuring well-known and successful entrepreneurs Illac Diaz of My Shelter Foundation and Charlene Tan of Good Food Community (GFC) to talk about Social Entrepreneurship. These entrepreneurs with a big heart for the community will give great insights and tips to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to combine their business ideas with a mission to empower their respective communities.

GFC Founder Charlene Tan developed a community-shared agriculture system that builds up relationship with their farmers and provides them stable livelihood at the same time cultivating a healthy lifestyle for their clients through their fresh, organic harvest that are delivered straight to their homes in Metro Manila.

“In line with the PHILIPPINE SME BUSINESS EXPO 2013 advocacy to empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and our partners, we are looking forward to empower more social entrepreneurs and enlighten more people on how they can do business while helping their community,” says Expo Organizer David Abrenilla.

The Philippine SME Business Expo invited over hundreds of enterprises from various industries to exhibit their products and services, as well as share their valuable vision to visitors and exhibitors who are looking forward to explore more business opportunities. Some of the featured companies are Esquire Financing, Rags2Riches, Metrodeal, Jacinto and Lirio and Hybrid Social Solutions.

Exhibitors and participants will also be stirred up as top entrepreneurs like Randell Tiongson, motivational speaker and Director of Registered Financial Planner Institute of the Philippines and Judah Paolo, celebrity host and founder of Lead Out give motivational talks and pass on knowledge during the expo. The PHILIPPINE SME BUSINESS EXPO 2013 is presented by Esquire Financing Inc., organized by MEDIACOM Solutions Inc., co-presented by Buy-A-Car, Capitalife, PLDT KaAsenso and supported by the DTI-BSMED.

This three-day event will be held on July 12-14, 2013 at the SMX Convention Center Taguig, located at the 3rd floor of SM Aura Premier, Taguig City. The event is open to the public for FREE and visitors can explore hundreds of booths, avail of exhibitors’ special ofers and discounts and take home great raffle prizes.
